Over the weekend, Dr. Kherani attended the meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology in Chicago. Also known as AAO 2022, this annual event is a gathering of medical experts in the field of Ophthalmology (in case you didn’t know, Dr. Kherani is a board certified Ophthalmologist). It’s basically “The Place You Have To Be” if you’re in the field.
Dr. Kherani participated in the meeting, in the symposium I’ve Been Waiting for Someone to Ask: Tips to Improving Your Oculofacial Plastic Clinic Exam & Surgical Outcomes, and leading the instructional course, Lotions, Potions, OnabotulinumtoxinA and Fillers: Nonlaser Rejuvenation for the Ophthalmologist. She also participated by representing Women in Ophthalmology. Her talks were well received by her peers.
Dr. Kherani is an active member of the Canadian Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons, American Board of Ophthalmology, and American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She performs eyelid surgery for our practice.
